Advanced Cookie Banner: GDPR CNIL ePrivacy cookie-laws 3.0.2
The Advanced Cookie Banner is the only module that complies with the CNIL recommendation for informed consent before setting cookies (October 2020). The corresponding GDPR will eventually be in line with the future European ePrivacy Regulation.

The Advanced Cookie Banner is the only module in PrestaShop that complies with the latest regulations, such as the May 2018 GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which mandates visitors to obtain informed consent for placing cookies in their browser , or the October 2020 CNIL recommendation on enforcement measures. We continually update the module as new regulations are enacted. For example, when introduced, it will be compatible with the European e-privacy (ePR) regulation on personal data protection (the core of the module will need to be updated).
It is fully designed to work with the code to provide the best possible user experience according to the Google Official Interface Guidelines Not only can the module show you permission requests to set cookies, but it goes beyond that: Click to accept or reject all cookies or to select which cookies (accounting and/or commercial) are allowed to be installed. This gives them complete freedom, their satisfaction and therefore your reputation should go up. Visitors to modules that have refused to place cookies on their terminal will be blocked in compliance with their wishes.
In practice, on the back office side, the module lets you configure modules that do not require user approval to work and which require prerequisites In this answer you can separate those two types of cookies : accounting purposes and trading . When a visitor comes to your website, he or she is likely to receive one, both or both of the two types of modules.
